Background

I created this program for those times when I want to search all programs for some peculiar Magic construct and have it return me a list of Program/task names where the construct is found. Examples might be searching for a color number, where I'm using transactions and don't intend to.

The program contains many shortcut search switches. These are easy to add because the program is written in Perl. I don't have an executable version for it so you will only be able to run it on machines where Perl 5.xx is installed, but I haven't looked at it in a long time, so I have my doubts.

My recommendation is that you install ActiveState Perl.
